Well ive decided to wait for the 2007 rather than buying a new truck now. i know it will be a 4X4 CC powerstroke but cant wait to see what else will be available with that model. just wondering if anyone else was gonna wait and what yall thought about waiting for the new one. i trust ford to make the best truck possible i just hope they keep the solid front end!!!
Gotdiesel,
I must be out of the loop as far what is in store for 2007 with Ford trucks. New body style? Are they keeping front coils? Just curious cause this is my first superduty. Sorry for my ignorance.

no problem because no one knows what is in store. rumors go from a new diesel motor to more room in the cab. all we really know is big changes are coming. i just cant wait to find out and get the thing ordered. hopefully who ever finds out first will post here and let us all know.
Got ya big diesel man, sorry, I was just reading the "07 wish list" post. Thought someone knew something I missed. Shoud have read the latter first. Nice posting with ya though. Keep on truckin' diesel man!!!!!!!!
I just went through that battle. Determined that I couldnt wait and bought an 05' psd. I based part of my decision on the fact that so many 2003 owners had issues. I love Fords, and knew that I wanted the psd, so I bought while the deals were good.
I was really close to buying an '05 F250 but when the cut the model year off early I figured I would wait for an '06. Then I realized the '06 is really the same as an '05 so I might as well wait for the brand new '07. I have heard they will probably bring the '07 out early. They can bring it out as early as January of '06. From what I have heard, the interior is the biggest thing they are changing. As far as most of the truck, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", right? Check out the New Ford/Lincoln/Mercury buyer forum. There are some dealers in there that will let everyone know as soon as they find out what is going on with the '07's.
What Edmunds.com Says: Ford' Super Duty trucks will be redesigned with a greater emphasis on the interiors
<!-- Begin VDP Content -->What We Know: Ford plans a ground-up redesign for all of its Super Duty truck models, including the F-250 and F-350, for the 2007 model year. It's believed that the look of these trucks will be a further development of the F-350 Tonka concept, bringing the eye-popping brashness of that model to market. The company is reportedly stressing the cabin design of the new Super Duty trucks, with at least five different interior trim levels available. Choices will range from the functional to luxurious. Ford has also extended its contract with Harley-Davidson past 2007, so it can be expected that Harley-Davidson as well as King Ranch editions of the various Super Duty models will be available. It's likely that the first of these new trucks will appear in the fall of 2006.

I played the waiting game before. waited for the '03 they had issues so waited for the '04, heard of the change in '05 waited till 05 then pulled teh trigger figuring I could play the waiting game till I was dead if i was not careful. Have my '05 and so far I love it
I've been driving the same '89 F-150 SuperCab for the past 14 years and it's almost time for a new SuperDuty. Since I'm planning on keeping the new truck "until the wheels fall off", I'm waiting one more year until the new 2007s are available.
At the rate I’m going, I’ll be needing a new truck in 07, but I think I’ll wait for the 09 to come out with the much touted Diesel Electric Remote Drive System. For now, I am more than satisfied with my 05. This is a really nice truck and should get a good trade in value in 09.
