Aahhh, that makes more sense. How much power those 7.3's making down there right now? I love the 7.3's. Especially with a 6 speed, awesome.
What is a "Roo Bar"?
Our 7.3's make 230hp...
A Roo Bar is:
Essentially a big lump of steel (or alloy or plastic) that sits at the front of the vehicle, protecting it from animal strike while driving.
Which is usually from Kangaroos (i.e. Roo Bar) they are also called Bull Bars.
Thanks, that worked for the page, but the pic wouldnt show. Dont matter though, I know what you were talking about, and i have to get ready for work, so thanks.
It is a truck if you want all that crap buy a car.
This kind of thinking just confounds me. Of course it is a truck. But whats wrong with enjoying the drive even more with some creature comforts? A lot of people need the capability of a truck, but also need the comfort for long hauls with the family. When we are paying upwards of 50 grand for a new vehicle these days, there is a need for options. You can get what you see as a truck as well. It's called the base model.
Someone mentioned a compressor with air brakes. Hmmm, dunno' about that, but how about an air starter? Haha, that'll sound like a big-boy truck!
Seriously though, other items..
-A rear window that opens enough for me to crawl through into the camper during a rain or snow storm.
-Fix the center console, make it useful. Make the back be able to go flat down. How about the bottom flip up for out-of-sight storage. Make it user-friendly for a laptop computer.
-How about a front hitch receiver, or at least make it so we don't have to take the bumper off and lose the fog lights to install an after market species.
-Oh yeah, big peeve for me, that half-size bench seat in the rear? My dogs hate it, how about getting the back portion to drop forward so they have a flat and wider area to lay on.
Somebody send this thread to the designers at Ford, I'll be ready to trade in my '03 in '07.
I don't let "Barbie" drive my PSD, she has her Ford Escape. Converted her a few months ago from owning TOYotas for 20 years.
Since you two are awake and watching this thread, do ya'll know how to fold down the back cushion on the rear bench on a '03 SD?
