I need some advice on which series I should upgrade to. I have a 5.0 with true duals and no cats. The turbo mufflers I have only sound good at an idle. I hear that the 40's are louder but the 50's are deeper. If this is true, I would like the deeper ones. I am not looking for something obnoxious, just deep and louder than what I have.

Thanks

if it were mine, I'd pay the extra money and get the "delta-flow" series. They are much deeper and quieter than most of the others, and given the 302 inherently sounds good anyway, these will make it sound even bigger.

delta flows are too quiet to my liking, my 40 series single 3" pipe sets off car alarms and gives me headaches and all that good stuff I'd say if you get the flowmaster non-deltas, make sure the tailpipe doesn't exit underneath the bed with a turn down like my exhaust, too darn loud inside the cab, but with a deep resonating idle sound that I personally like better than a crackling exhaust.

I have both ot the exhaust tips exiting in front of the rear passenger tire (like the Lightning). Will this cause extra noise in the cab with the 40's? Can anyone compare the 50's to my Turbos or the Deltas?

Thanks
