what to ask

i got a 1988 F -150
MMint condition no rust long box reg cab.
Just got repainted.
Inline six auomatic
130,000 miles
new tires has ac and everything works
what do think its worth??

2wd or 4x4?

its a 2x4 and is in great shape a old guy owned it before me, never seen a load.

You're in a tough situation. The truck is worth a lot more than you will probably be able to get for it. I live in Colorado and 2wd's aren't worth much here. If you live down south or somewhere that 4x4 isn't a big deal I would guess you could get about $2500-3k for it. I don't know why you're thinking of selling it but you could probably come out way ahead by just driving it for the next 10 years. Then again that's just my .02, look around in the local papers and see what comparable trucks are selling for. Matt.
