I Have A 2001 Ford Ranger 2wd With 2.3l, I Had Brakes Replaced At Dealer At 17,000 I Had Complained 3 Times About Squealing Brakes, So They Did It For Free, Now At 34,000 They Are Squealing Again 17,000 Seems Very Fast For Brakes To Go Out?

Welcome to FTE!
Is the squealing coming from the front or rear?
What was done to the brakes by the dealer before? New pads? New or reground rotors?
Squealing doesn't always mean that the brakes are failing, it could just mean that they are noisy. A lot of people upgrade to premium brake pads which are less likely to squeal (if installed properly).

if they don't do a cross pattern (almost the same as honing a cyl. wall)' you'll get squealing brakes every time ask them to return your rotors doing this and your problem should go away
Certain brake pads will just get noisier quicker, people always seem to complain about fords brakes. Go aftermarket if you don't like squealing, they are still working okay, right? Sometimes I find it helps to spray everything down with water real good when the brakes squeak, gets out some of the old brake dust and whatnot. I replaced my brakes with some premium pads from napa and haven't made any noises for a while. Just a thought, you get what you pay for.
