Installing lights behind grille

I've seen photos of this done on some truck off the internet, but has anyone on this site done this to thier 04 or 05 yet? I'm new to this stuff, so I have really no idea where to start when it comes to the wiring. Also since the hood opens, how do you run the wires?

Any help would be appreciated,

Not sure what type of lights you want. I installed red LED lights on my grill, with the wires running in the hood itself. Looks great.

I installed 2 white LED lights behind my grille and I used an old " T Sqaure " painted it with black paint and used factory bolts to mount it. All the wires are run behind the T sqaure. If you want pics of the mounting let me know. I do have a pic in my gallery of the lights turned on.

One of my buddies installed 2 reds/2 blues behind the grill for me. He mounted them on a piece of flat/painted piece of aluminum. Wired to 2 separated backlite switchs (1 red/1 blue). Came out great, plenty of room for him to work behind the grill...
