Where is my V.I.N.??

Ok narrowing down
I would be safe to say it is 65 F350 cab and front end pieces on to a F100 chassis.
The fender badge is indicitave to a 65 F350. on F100s and 250s a Fender badge stating F100 or F250 with twin i beam is mounted at the same location
With a straight axle. Also the warranty tag for 65 will be on the door.
Now the real kicker... is the frame a parallell full straight frame behind the rear of the cab about 6" in height? Full straight meaning no kicks up near the axle just straight c channel?

DUH! Did not realize that the truck was from down under.
Here in the US most states will not title a vehicle without the VIN Recorded. there are 53 seperate ways and rules to title a vehicle based on what the state or commonwealth. or even a territory has in effect for law.
Here in Pennsylvania the frame VIN is what rules. the door tag has no function. I just found out my title for my crew cab is off from the door tag by 1 number. Somehow they left off the last digit when it was last titled in 1991. Pa requires a title for everything no matter how old. Some states like Georgia do not have titles on older vehicles just bills of sale.
You will have to check what Austrailia takes for documentation and go from there.
The F350 used a 3" spring pack check that ad see if the smaller axle was just bolted on.

53 seperate ways!!!
Holy moly!! LOL Over here it's not that complicated...the truck is currently registered using the chassis number as they couldn't find a VIN number when it was taken to Main Roads (DMV). We are only chasing the VIN for identification purposes so we can get parts for it, plus it would be nice to know exactly what year model it is....well at least when it comes to the suspension etc
We'll check the spring pack and get back to you. Thanks so much Garbz....this forum has been very informative
