Vibration post acceleration.
Hi Guys and Gals. 
I am posting all the way from sunny Barbados in the West Indies.I have a 1997 Explorer Ltd 4.0 OHC.In the last few months I have noticed that I get a bad vibration once I come OFF of the gas at about 40 to 60 Mph.The problem has lessened with changes of both upper & lower control arms+ aligning,but remains none the less.Any ideas?

I'd reccomend a transmission service/flush and replace with mercon V. I was told by a ford technician friend to try this first. This fixed mine. It sounded like I was running over a rumble strip on the street just after I got off the gas from acceleration. Apparently, there's a tech service bulletin for this. (?)
