Painting over Chrome??

hi all, I came over from the Big Bronco forum to as a question. My son and I are building up an 82 bronco and getting ready for the paint. My son wishes to have the bumpers and certain trim moldings (chrome) painted to match the paint scheme that he has in mind. QUESTION IS: what is the proper prep and primer to the chrome to allow the paints to adhere properly???
