Replacing ignition wire 5.0
Is it necessary to remove the throttle body to replace the last plug wire on the passenger side? This one looks to be a bugger.
Purchased wires from Carquest and they appear to be 2-3 in. longer. Is this typical on replacement wiring? They are for cast iron manifold and I have forgot on how to identify which that I have but the set of wires for a tubular manifold didnot have the shields that this set has and that my originals do have.

Easiest way to change the wires is through the fenderwells. If you take the tire off, there is a flap in the fenderwell you can remove. It is just held in with push pins. Take that down, and you are stairing at the plugs...
