Build or Ship date on SD

Build or Ship date on SD
I have a 2005 f350 SD on order. Does anyone know if the general public can access ford to see if a build date or ship date has been set on my truck ?
I hate to keep calling the dealer to ask them. thanks for the help.

A good dealer should phone you as soon as he gets the Vin and the build week date and the ETA.
Then after the truck is built you can find an Oasis site , give the VIN and you will get the exact build date. Take care, Wrenchtraveller.

It is a data base that Ford Techs can access . It gives the build date and the repair history of a vehicle using the VIN. I use a site called Flatrate tech. You will have to register and then go to the Oasis Forum . Good luck, Wrench
