photos of alternative gauge dash?

In the twenty-five years that I have had my 1975 f250, I've replaced the speedo/odometer twice, and now it is bad again. I don't think I want to use one of the LMC made in China models, and was wondering what my alternative choices were. I'd love to see what other owners have done. Any info is appreciated. Thx in advance.

Here is mine. The new bezel was thermoformed from abs and it has the heater controls and the radio location switched. Building the tooling and making the bezel wasn’t cheep but it was totally worth it to have all the gauges I wanted and fit the flip out screen deck with out it covering up the heat controls.

This is is pretty much the setup I want to go with, 2 large gauges and 6 smaller ones. I've always thought they would fit but this is the first time I've seen it. I want the larger gauges to be combo units, one speedo/tach and the other one a 4 way oil/water/volts/temp, but they're hard to find in that size, they're usually a 5" gauge. Then the individual gauges will be trans temp/fuel pressure/boost/exhaust temp/drive pressure/on board air. I really want to keep it all in that panel and not have a couple gauges in pods somewhere. I've got an A/C truck, so i have a vent right where your accessory switch panel is. It kinda sucks cause that's a perfect place for those switches, or a couple more gauges.

My personal preference: I think the panel with 8 gauges is just too much. It looks as though it is the cockpit of an airplane. I also think that the AutoMeter dash looks home-made.

I think dakota recently came out with this one.... looks pretty neat! Keep the original look but have modern features.

$1500 price tag though....

How are these wired, in a nutshell? You have a controller that you terminate all the sending units to, GPS for speedometer and just wire in 12 volts for power?

The website lists how everything is wired in... doesn't seem too extreme to me!

You can download the instructions on the website and read them. I was going to get that until I saw the price.

Speedhut gauges, including GPS speedometer. I didn't get them angled right, and they're kind of hard to read.

If I was going to do something like that to my truck, I would get a whole Bumpside dash panel, and mod it so that it could be bolted to the Dentside cab. And I would get a '73-'77 F600 gauge cluster for the Bumpside dash!
I like the looks of the '73-'79 F600 gauges better than the '67-'72 F600 gauges.

Dakota VHX's $750 off Ebay. Display more info than most need. Really straight forward connections.

Thanks for all the replies and great photos. I think I will try to get one of the speedhut type panels w/o the gauges so that I can use the ones I have. I understand how the D.Diigital instruments would appeal to those who prefer the oem look, and that is fine. But I am way beyond that with zf5, hotrod 4.9, 3g alt., aluminum radiator, hydroboost brakes, etc, etc, so I think I'll got with the modded look, with analog gauges. I think that gauge cluster with an aftermarket steering wheel suits me. Thanks again, guys. Great help.
