Ag. Based Diesel

Does anybody know if our old 7.3's will run on soy-based diesel? I would love to keep our money in the US of A. Just a curious question.

Lotta guys are running them on recycled veggie oil from places like Micky Ds or making there own Bio. Willie Nelson is opening some fuel stations too.........

You can do it. It will be harder on injection components and seals though. It can be a little harder starting than the real stuff too. Some guys run dino in one tank just to start it and stop it.

If your talking about the BIO-diesel, that should work fine, I would run a fuel addative ALL the time, a lil on the strong side just to be safe. A full WVO convertion is an option, if you want a huge project that takes a while, but fuel will be forever free.
