Well I finally did it. I took my new FX4 scab muddin. Everything was going great, I was spinnin aroung getting mud everywhere grinnin from ear to ear. But on my way out, the easy part, I climbed up on a little bank and slid back down and the next thing I know I dropped my left front tire into a rut, before I could stop the left rear was there to. Now Im sitting on the axel at about a 35deg. angle and all four tires just spin. NC mud is Greaeaeasssy. It tough to feel smart with 30k$ sitting sideways basically on the driverside door stuck in the mud. All's well though, I called a co-worker with an F250 raised up with mudder on it. After about three hard tugs she backed right out.Just a few scars to show she not just pretty. Any body else have mud stories too share?
I am still thinking about your last response to another post . I am still trying to figure out how that fellow did the 1/4 mile in 13.08 seconds.I wish my truck could do that.Did he say 0-60 in 4? seconds ?WOWWWW!!!!! Good Luck!
IM on the stock BF goodwrench rugged trail 18's. There pretty tough tires. Everything on the truck is stock but it probably wouldn't have matter though. The front was sitting on the skid plates and the rear was sitting on the transaxle. I had dug a trench with both.
been pulled out more times than i can remember.. ive pushed my truck to its limits and have been more places with only a leveling kit than trucks with over 14 inches of lift. never been stuck without being high centered tho- that is its weak spot. My goodyear MTR's have held their own.
nothin like rollin down the street in a truck coated in mud haha gotta love it
I felt invincible like Superman one winter night years ago in my F250 4x4 .I decided to go down a back road that the county had not plowed all winter.Well, as soon as I tried to go over the 6 ft pile of snow they had plowed there to close the road all winter, I got stuck up to the frame.I have been very cautious since that ridiculous stunt.I was so embarassed .A guy in a 4x4 3/4 ton Chevy tried his best to pull me off that mountain but could not do it.I ended up getting a tow truck. When those 4x4's get stuck they are STUCK!Have Fun! P.S.I still wonder if I would have made it through, if I would have gotten a better run at it.

Reminds me of a couple of friends who were trying out a new GPS in an F250. They both got concentrating on the GPS and forgot you also need to pay attention to where you actually are. Hung up a nerf bar on a tree across the trail and very nearly spent the night in the bush. Have to give them credit though for telling that story on themselves.
Better than having to get pulled out by Chevy or Dodge! Did you happen to get any pics?
Nope, Didnt get any pictures of it since I didn't have a camera with me. Wasn't even planning on going mudding, but I had to get to the barn and a tree has fallen across the road. Funny thing is I've managed to get a Wrangler stuck in mud during a drought, in a construction area... I have bad luck
btw - my buddies truck is a 89 150 i believe, 14 inch lift (Skyjacker), 38" Pirelli Jones Dirt Grip, the camper shell is now off - it looks a lot better
I have been stuck 2 times. After the leveling kit, have not been stuck again. Those 2.5 inches help. Oh, the rugged trail are the worst tires ever. The all terrains are a world of difference.
