How sad is that? I never thought of turkeys as Ford killers, but I will definitely be more careful on my way to our spring turkey hunt this year!
Idea for a new bumper sticker: Shoot a turkey, save a Ford
All kidding aside, I know how you feel. A few years ago I sold my old truck to a guy that I worked with and bought myself a new truck. Well one day about a month after I got my new truck we were parked in in line at this job site and at quiting time this guy jumps into my old truck to leave and has it in reverse instead of first and takes out my grill for me. Nothing like watching your old truck beat the c*** out of your new rig.

That's why I bought a Brush guard. Although I think this one is made for looks. It'll probuly tear the truck up even more now that I put the brush guard on, but it does look good.

It was a full grown wild turkey 12-15 lb, I was traveling 70 mph,vs a flimsy plastic grill.Plus when I wiped the blood and guts off the windshield there were gravels in it.A guy that turkey hunts said they eat small rocks.Thats a new one on me.

i see, you hit PUREE mode. Maybe those small rocks were encased in it's skull instead of gray matter.

All birds eat small rocks. The rocks go into the gizard and as the muscles move the rocks grind the plant material into a mush, I guess you could call them teeth.
