I am upgrading all the bulbs in my 2005 XLT. It was a struggle, but I replaced the low and hi beam headlights (who designed the hi beam bulb clips?!). It appears that I have to remove the entire assembly in order to replace the front side/turn bulbs. There are two 10 MM bolts at the top. I believe there is a single 10 MM bolt below the assembly but it is difficult to get to. From another thread, it also appears that I have to remove the entire front bumper and fascia in order to pull the headlight assemblies! Can anyone confirm this, or tell me how to replace the front side/turn bulbs?
Thanks!

The 2001-2003 don't require the bumper to be removed. Now the turn signals require pulling the front tire and fender well/shield. I believe the fog light replacement is the same too. Odd how they seem to make things tougher on the newer vehicles.
Thanks. Racerguy, any more directions you can give me for removing the front bumper? I can usually figure stuff out, and you say it's fairly easy, but any extra help is most welcome.
Removal and Installation of Side Lamp/Front Turn Signal Lamp Bulb
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Remove the 2 fender splash shield bolts.
Remove the 3 fender splash shield pin-type retainers.
Remove the screw and position the fender splash shield aside.
Remove the front turn lamp bulb holder from the lamp assembly.
Remove the front turn lamp bulb.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
