I'm from FL, but originally from CT, so I know all about cranberry bogs. Even have an old cranberry scoop for a magazine rack.

I've seen pictures of cranberries being harvested, so I knew that's the way they grew but I've never seen a cranberry bog in person. None around here, that's for sure! We grow grapes and walnuts as our biggest crops in this county, in the northern Sacramento Valley, one of the biggest crops is rice. In the whole state, I think the biggest crop is...flakes! -TD

cranberry bogs

We have them in northern wisconsin. They have a huge festival there every year. Its in a tiny town called warrens. normal population 3000. On the festival weekend they get about 100,000 people there. Its completely nuts.

We have them out here out on the coast of Washington State too. Never even crossed my mind that some would think they grew on trees...but I can see why some people would think that

My folks live between two cranberry bog operations. Quite a procedure, and awesome for duck hunting.

My neighbor has a rather large cranberry bog he started a few years back. Nothing is tastier than fresh cranberries on pancakes with some maple syrup...mmmmm.

I seen pics of them in National Geographics and they look beautiful. I would be a nice place to take a date and eat a picnic
