Seat belt locking
I read with interest the posts relating to problems getting the seat belts to retract. So far on my 01 SD that has not been a problem on any of the four belts.
What is my problem is the driver's side belt "locking" and preventing me from a full range of motion when trying to clear traffic before moving out from a dead stop. The only way to get it to unlock is to rock back in the seat for some slack and then physically pull the belt forward. Doesn't happen at every stop, but at enough to make it a real pain.
Can anyone suggest a fix?
