Flex-A-Lite Fan
I always come across these fans while in any auto parts store or on any auto parts sites, what is the advantage or disadvantage of having a Flex fan? Do they really make much of a difference in keeping your rig cooler or is it a waste of money?

My pal got a couple of these for a 350 Olds engine, and a 396 Chevy engine. I dont like them... When the engine is running above idle speed, the fan flattens out and makes an awful buzzing noise as it cuts through the air. I'd stick with the original.

i have on my truck works better than the fan clutch type .
less wieght to the water pump. no clutch too. with my fan you can't hear it inside the cab. plus i get better flow of air keeping my engine cool to the touch.
unless you gun it you can hear it zoom in my case.
