Have any of you seen those Simpson's episodes that follow the "Canyonero" with a lipstick dispenser built into the gear shift. Hilarious. Marge quote after she gets tired of sitting in traffic, hits the 4x4 and goes off road, b-line to their house "GET OUT OF MY WAY NATURE" as the deer and raccoons and bunnies jump out of her way.
ROTFLMAO.
In another episode Marge saves the town by speeding down a curvy road and the top heavy canyonero rolls and goes down the ravine and plugs up the river after the Dam breaks. The Canyonero was soooooooo big it plugged the ravine up. lol.
That show never ceases to amaze me.
OTOH, can't wait to bring another PSD Excursion home.
Any more info on the Expedition Max/Everest/new Excursion? There were two downfalls I personally saw with the old Excursion and that was the ride was actually worse than the 3/4 truck from the seat of the pants (i.e. those in my family with motion sickness throw up in the Ex, but don't in the pickup - go figure) and that the Ex had a lower payload than the 3/4-ton Suburban by a substantial amount (1700 max vs. 2400 max). I really hope the new Excursion, whatever the name, has a payload that can handle my puny 25' trailer and my family w/o overloading it (and have a decent ride) because I heavily prefer Fords.
Oh, and BTW Ducster1, I would hazard to guess that the V6 Turbo Diesel engine is not going to be that underpowered for the vehicle. I mean, geez, look at the Cummins? It's only got 6 cylinders and it has plenty of power (although it is inline which inherently has more torque.)
Anyone seen any probably numbers for the diesel's power? Payload or anything on the new Ex? I read elsewhere that the Hurricane 6.2 project is being revived just for the new Ex and a Mustang or something that is coming out from the defunct SVT, so it won't be a total loss for Ford.
