68' 360
I've recently inherited a really nice 1968 F-250 with a 360. I'm wondering what the factory horsepower and torque figures are. I dont plan on modifying the truck in anyway I'm just curious to what it has. Thanks

You should see the factory HP rating on the VIN tag in the door, near the latch. It will probably say 172hp, if I remember correctly. Now, that is some kind of Net HP, that nobodody has really clarified how Ford calculated. I believe the crank rating was around 215 (makes sense, the 352 was 208).
Now, don;t let that be dissapointing, the FEs make a good bit of torque to help get things moving. And a few small mods can make a difference on a stock FE.
