Although I have a 96 GMC 2500... i wanted to put in power locks and windows. Do any of you think it is worth the effort and cost? And have any of you tried this on your vehicles? how difficult would it be?

 

I know that if you get a car alarm they can give you powerlocks by putting accuators..
I would pesonally go to a scrap yard and pulls the parts and throw them on your rig

I have put both in my 85 350 crew. Used aftermarket door locks (about $39.00) and junk yard lifts motors and lifts. Went pretty easy. I wired up my own wiring and switch system from surplus 3 way rocker switches. Been in 4 years no problem.
