Different Mirrors

Has anybody put any of the new M3 mirrors on their Ranger?

I've spotted them on a well known auction site, and like the way they look.... sporty and even with led lights that would hook into the turn signals, and for the price, I've been thinking about ordering some, but don't know enough about them.

I like the other style that were on the Ranger and the Mazdas, but for about half the price, I'm considering the sportier look.

The paddle style on my 97 Ranger are terrible. The driver side is practically useless at highway speeds. It vibrates like chattering teeth and no matter what I've tried I can't get it to stop.

Any input from anybody???

m3 mirrors

hey i just came across this post and i just got the M3 mirrors..i got the ones with the amber and blue..they are easy to hook up but im thinkin of hooking up 2 switches one for the blue light and one for the amber light..my problem is lookin at a wiring diagram i think i may need 4 switches..if there is an easier way i would love the input.

Well now, how do you like them? Do they give you about the same viewing area as the factory mirrors? That's been one of my concerns, and I haven't found anybody that I can ask about it.

I had those ones off ebay and they were crap. To small for one thing and the glass shaked around alot. You get what you pay for you know.

Now I have stock explorer mirrors and Im happy.

i have the power mirror ones..which vendor did you get yours from. i just put them on but didnt wire them yet because im still trying to figure out how im going to wire the switches on. so far im happy with them.

If you want something a little sportier, maybe get your mirrors painted to match the body. If you don't have power mirrors, get the edge mirros that aren't power, but are in the same casing.
