Anyone experiencing an unusual amount of brake dust in the front rims. Seems like I go out twice and I have to clean them. Pain in the ***, one think I like is clean rims. Anyone else? Has anyone tried them brake dust kits you put inside the tire? Do they work?
Until I got the new rotors. The dust seems to not appear as much. The new rotors are part of TSB04-26-11. I only had 5500 miles on mine when they were replaced due to excessive wear.
2004 SuperCrew 4x4 5.4 Lariat - Same problem. Lots and lots of brake dust. Also interested others thoughts. 4500 miles, sure like the truck.
Been 8 years since my last new truck which was a 1997 crew F-350 4x4. Great, great truck, my son still has it.

My F250 did the same thing for the first 12K miles. it stoped after that. the wife's F150 WOW! she can drive it to work twice and the wheels are solid black. far worse than what the 250 was.
