my poor grille

would anyone have any advice on what to do about an original grille that i can't find a replacement for.it isn't wrecked but is severly pitted, and of course has some dents and dings.

depending on how much you have to spend on it, you could take it to a chrome shop and have it chromed if its one of the steel ones.

Ebay or start junkyarding. I spent years tracking down an aluminum '67 grille, and my wife and I finally found one a few weeks ago. Good luck to you; there aren't any aftermarket grilles for us right now.

Well.....I dunno,
but last I knew LMC TRUCK.com out of Kansas City had a
pretty fair selection of FORD reproduction grilles
alloy and plastic.

The only place I have seen the bright aluminum grills is Dennis Carpenter, and they are in the $500 range. A good metalworking company can bring it back to near-new condition.
