Safety Inspection
I have to get one "promptly" (i could have avoided the whole situation...long story)
There are a few things i need to 'fix'.
1.My steel box doesnt fit perfectly so theres some hockey pucks under there.
2.I need license plate light says the DOT, battery strap, mud flaps, mufflers too.
3. Cab corners arent so hot.
The one thing im worried about is the patch on my frame, becuase i cracked it.
How much do you think it would cost to get magna fluxed?? Or would they say its no good cause there was welding on the frame? Crack in the windshield as well.
Lights,ebrake,ball joints,brakes, tie rods,seatbelts,horn,wipers, all work.
They basically gave me safety inspection because my exhaust is to loud and its lifted over 3 inches.
I guess ill start working on these things soon.

Re cracks. There is or was a product called Zyglow (sp?) we used to use on aircraft parts. It was a two part rattlecan type deal where you shot one part, and then shot the second part. The cracks showed up as a line (crack) of the first color on the second.
