Turbo, how long
How long does your turbo run after you shut down your engine, today mine stopped turning as soon as the engine stopped, use to run at least 10 seconds or so after the engine stopped, what happened to it. Truck not running right.

I think there are conditions that allow it to spin down faster/slower. Maybe temperature has something to do with it. Maybe the last pitch of the vanes? Sometimes I notice it spinning down, sometimes not. It's not like it's got an electric motor on it and it's forced to spin after the engine is shut off. Dat's not how it werks.
Not spinning up when engine running.. Not good. No power.
Spinning up when engine running but real noisy.. Not necessarily good or bad.
Noisy when spinning down when engine is shut down.. Probably not good.
But I've heard some noisy ones that functioned well for hundreds of thousands of miles.
