While Driving Music Mix
I'm trying to put together a really good driving CD. On this particular one I'm looking for long, heavy, and slightly "haunting" guitar riffs. This is what I have so far (not in this order):
Metallica - Turn the Page
Metallica - Call of Ktulu
Paradise Lost - Small Town Boy
Paradise Lost - Sane
Any other suggestions that fit well with that style/sound will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Deep Purple's "Highway Star".
A really good instrumental not widely known...I always think it makes a great one for when you hit the on ramp onto a winding road...

Just about anything from..
rage against the machine, prodigy, sevendust, static-x, god smack, tool, NIN, Anthrax, system of a down, Pantera... I could go on and on. This is my kind of music but my kids tell me I'm too old to listen to it.
Just re-read your post. You wanted haunting. I guess most of what I listed isn't.
Good driving music though.
