I started a "Driving" directory on my MP3 player once. These aren't just driving songs, but songs I thought would fit the rhythm of the road:

AC/DC - Shoot To Thrill, Highway to Hell
Alice in Chains - Dam that River
Bush - Speed Kills
George Thorogood - Delaware Slide
Golden Earring - Radar Love
Metallica - Wherever I May Roam
Ministry - Jesus Built My Hotrod
Motley Crue - Kickstart My Heart
Southern Culture on the Skids - 40 Miles to Vegas
The Offspring - All I Want
Tom Petty - Runnin' Down a Dream

Dawn Razor by Fields of Nephilim

A little bit different...but I really like it, listen to a lot of what you already have on the list, and have it on most of my driving mixes.

Definitely, worth looking up if you want long heavy and HAUNTING.

Too bad neither of my sources has it. And just an update on the mix...substitute "Paradise Lost - Erased" for "Paradise Lost - Sane".

IMO a driving CD must include Stevie Ray Vaughns - Little Wing

Great tunes and it's 6 minutes long to boot
