my truck was about 14k as well. I have power nothing, rubber flooring, had a full bench, etc.

it was a "leader" truck, the cheap ones they advertise to get you on the lot before they rape your next 5 years....

Well, it looks like I'll be getting it today. They final price for the 2001 is 14,108. That satisfies me to death. I owed $11,500 on my truck and they are trading it for the full price plus they took off about 2k on the original asking price. I can't pass it up. It will be the 4.6 V8, and I can't wait to put duals with a flowmaster on it. I will actually get a V8 sound of a truck for once.

Now to vent...I'm really going to miss my 4.2. I've missed it the whole time...it's just so much quicker and more fun to drive, but this truck is waaay nicer. I'll try and get some pics and a vid of it up soon. I just got DSL installed at the house along with a Digital Video Camera.

I'm happy with it...really happy. If I do anything to it, it will be very basic mods...no gears or anything like that. I'm thinking a MAC Intake with a 40 series SIDO the back with some stainless tips. That will make me happy overall.

Anybody want to contribute to the Joe needs an exhaust fund?!

Rman, I showed up at work and there was a box on my floor. I don't remember much prior to the accident. I lost some memory there. I remembered your name but not who you were on FTE. I remember now though.

Yep. Colts won by a field goal as time expired.....But then again we stayed in hotel across the street from the RCA Dome. Started drinking about 3 PM. I'm pretty sure it ended that way.

Fortville was real small. Much smaller than what I'm used to, even in WV. I don't know which direction out of Indy, but it only took about 20-25 minutes to get to Indy. We just got a room so we wouldn't have to drive back to Fortville after 9+ hours of drinking... We learned our lesson the last time I was up there. Partied in Indy. My buddy went to jail and I visited one of Indy's hospitals for some eyebrow/eyelid stitches. Jeep dashboorads hit hard. Nice. I looked real good at Broadripple the next night. Your about 1/2 as far from Indy as I am. It takes us about 4 1/2 hours to get there.

That's not all too bad then. Who did you go to see at Broad Ripple?

Haha. The drinking was as heavy the second night. The only thing I remember, albeit vaguely, was getting alot of pity attention from the ladies due to the huge black eye and stitches. It was funny listening to them give my buddy hell, "Look at what you did to your friends face" Haha. Lotsa free shots. Good times. Good times.......It seems we drink too much in Indiana..

We didn't make it to Broad Ripple my last trip up. We're planning on catching the Steelers and Colts this year in Indy. I'll have to wait and see what's going on when the time comes. Mine and my friends lives are very different. I'm married and have a son. He's single. Living the life of a playboy, I call it. He says, "Yeah, I'm livin' the dream."

Fortville is Northeast of Indy.
