We have put a new transmisson, transfer case, and torgue on our 92 Ford Exployer 4wd and it STILL WANT WORK it doesnt move at all and were at our wits end.any suggestions
thank you for your reply but I'm not sure what you mean by TC unless your refering to transfer case which we have changed.Do you know if theres a relay or fuse that would stop it from going into gear
There wasn't very much information in your post, does it run? What does it do when you put it in gear? Are the brakes locked up? Did it run before? Please provide the background details and maybe someone can come up with something.
thank you for your replys yes the exployer runs fine but when you put it in gear it acts like its in neautral and does not move.it has a A4LD transmission so we wonder if it could be a electronic problem
Where the parts new or new as in "new to the vehicle, but, used", new as in "rebuilt by "someone"", rebuilt as it "I just bought it from E-Bay", or new as in "rebuilt by a place that tests them and gives a 3 year warranty", etc. etc.?
I hate to state the very obvious, but, did you fill the transmission and transfer case? I have seen people blow motors by not adding the oil into their rebuilt crate motor.
If you would only post a problem once you will get better results.
As I said in your other post it could be the splines stripped in the transfer case.
I have seen this before.
Why did you replace all this stuff anyway?
Did you get the correct convertor?
Is the input shaft installed?
