Need another gear !!
I'm about to buy an F-350 diesel with either a C6 or a 4sp manual. Either one needs another gear. They're both revving way too fast at 65.
What's the best bet? I could swap in a 5sp for the manual, but for the C6 I sure don't want to swap in that troublesome E4OD.
Has anybody added an under/overdrive box behind their trans? How did it go?

Hi, I have the same problem with my F-350. it is geared really low...5.82:1 rear, and I thought about swapping out to some 4.11's...my 2 cents...
