Exclamation flames out exaust

i was also thinking of putting a sparkplug in my exaust pipe to shoot flames out, just wondering if anyone has got any info on how to do it exactly, or if it is a good idea, never done anything like this before, my truck is a 96 f-150 5.0L, it has dual exaust after the cat, seen this done on the show TRUCKS when Stacy did it to a truck but don't know how he went about it, i really need some professional help before i do this because i am going to do it myself and i don't want to blow me or my truck up.

Chances are having the cat will keep you from making any flames.
You need a really rich fuel mixture to do that, and the cat is there to help burn any extra that the engine might not use.

One idea is instead of buying those kits is to weld nitrous nozzle in the tailpipe and hook it up to a electric fuel pump. Then spark plug in the tail pipe, coil and that stuff. Put a small "auxilary" fuel tank to hook it up to. Might blow yourself up but it would be cool. Dont have use nitrous nozzle either a lot of variations of it.

if your careful and dont throw too much fuel at it i bet you would be alright. someone around here has already tried it or something similar i would imagine. try it on some old junker that dont run to "test" her out lol. or wait a year or so and i may just have to try it myself. Those kits arent very good on the motor i wouldnt use them anyway.
