I know that Motor Haven is a sponser of this site and I hae bought things from them before but lately I have not had good luck with them. I called 3 times last week to try to get some info on a MBRP Exhaust. The first time they said to go on the web site and submit a request, and after a day or two I called again and they said they would call back. I waited another day and called again and they again said they would call back and again they never did. I know that people get busy but if you say you are going to do something then do it. I am also in the repair buisness and if I tell a customer I am going to get their car or provide a service or call back I will. I am patient and willing to buy from these people but I am not sure why I cant get answers to my questions. Is anyone else having problems ordering from MotorHaven?
The person who was handling these call-backs is no longer with the company. What questions can I answer for you? Also, did you use the contact form as suggested? If so, before or after Wednesday?
Well the questions I had were how does the system install. Do I have to cut a pipe to make it fit or is the system a direct bolt in. Yes I used the form on the site that said if the phones are busy use this and someone will email you back shortly. Yes I did fill out the form before Wednesday. I am going to call now and see if I can speak to someone. have all intentions on making my purchase throug motor haven because they are a supporter. Thanks for the help.
One pipe may need to be cut. The kit is made for the longest wheel base and you cut a pipe depending on the size. Sorry about the contact, anything before Wednesday was left undone and possibly a few things after Wednesday as we take up the load for having one less person here.
Definitely not the norm from my experience w/ Motorhaven. An order I placed about a year ago was received promptly and their tech advise prior to the order was great also. They could have recommended a more expensive product but recommended one that was more moderately priced (air intake) and offered more "bang for the buck". Intake and tuner came in 2-3 days from ATL to NC. Decided to try another tuner last week and I just received a SCMT today that was ordered online late Tues or Wed night. Sent an email on Fri requesting a tracking number and got in w/in the hour from a rep named Jason. Nothing but KUDOS from me! Based on Ken's explanation I think we can all now see the reason for your "less than expected" treatment. Give'em another shot and I think you'll be impressed.
Well yesterday I did gve them another chance after reading Kens post. I order a MBRP cat back system, Stainless ofcourse. NY loves to salt the roads. After the explination Ken gave I knew they would help me out. Thanks Motor Haven
