Extended Service Plans ?
Ford offers four extended service plans:PREMIUM Care, EXTRA Care, BASE Care and POWERTRAIN Care.Does anyone know which plan is sufficient and the best value for the money?Thank You in advance for sharing your thoughts and knowledge.

If anything powertrain care. My reasoning is a truck can have its brakes, wipers, battery cables, seat covers, ect. fixed for a few hundred or less. You can even drive it if the paint flakes off but if the engine goes........it really can't perform as a truck anymore can it? I would rather have an ugly peice of crap to drive than a good looking hunk of metal to push.

I believe my dealer said the only 2 ESPs he sells are Premium and Powertrain, the others aren't worth it. I also read through this site that you can barter for a better price on the EST. Wish I would have known that...then again my dealer gave me 2K more for my trade than anyone else, so it was a wash.
