Pyrometer Questions

I just got a 2 1/16" Autometer Ultra-Lite Pyrometer off ebay and he said it comes with all necessary components and it came with the probe and the yellow wire but doesn't a sender come with the pyrometer?

Depends on the pyro. My Autometer pyro wires directly from the probe to the gauge. The only other wiring it has is for the bulb when the dash lights are on.
