While reading a recient issue of Road & Track I came across an article on RESTORE engine additive. I boasted that a can of this really improves engine compression and performance.
I was wondering if anyone has tried the product and does it work.
I have a 1994 I6 E250 Van with 330,000 miles on it. Maybe this will help improve my power.
I also read on this site that exhaust is probably the best way to improve power. I would like to know exactly what I need to replace and what I should replace it with.
Restore doesnt work. take the money it costs to buy it and throw it out the window, cause you'll get the same results. there is a post at the top of the forum, its called "need more power again and again", it will give you all the info you need for mods on the 4-9, including exhaust
Real tests of these miracle cure oil additives indicate they are little more than 50W oil with particulates added. As soon as the particulates encounter the oil filter, they are usually trapped and do little more than clog the filter. Save your money and don't buy into these cure all additives.
Yeah, been there, done that, and it didn't work for me.
