Have you cheecked out any RPM calulators? Thaty'll give you your RPM at a given speed & gear with any tire size combo.

Here's one of the best.

Monsta, Thanks for that great link. As I have stated in other posts the only thing I would have changed in my truck order was the rear end ratio. I ordered 4.10s and I should have gone 4.30s for the 5th wheel I am planning to buy in a year or so. Using the calculator I was able to figure my RPM with a 65 series tire will be the same with 4.10s as a 70 series are with 4.30s. I will be lowering my truck an inch but that is not a problem for me. Take care, Wrench.

I can say this, my 5.4 has 3.73's and 295's and if I had the money for gears $1400 I would skip the 4.30's and just get the 4.56's, I would rather do it right the first time! I would be nice to be able to use 4th gear and not have the truck work so hard pulling a load up to speed. It seems my rpm's need to be right in between 3rd and 4th, I think the 4.56's would put me there....
