I'll be away for most of the summer, leaving my truck in storage. There's no one around here I trust enough to leave my new truck with them all summer... What if any precautions do I need to take before I leave it in the garage?
pull the battery and you can also buy a giant zip lock baggy to store it in(search giant clear plastice bags) at my last job we had 20 something custom Car's turend into boats, jet powerd Toyta celica, Ford Explore trash truck and a bunch of other Crazy stuff and just stored them inside had to jump start them thats about it
I read most of the summer as less than 6 months? the battery will be just fine hooked up. Wash, Wax, change oil, tire pressure at max. remove the french fry's from under the seats. apply leather cleaner/protector if you have leather. I would think about a car cover. don't use old sheets. If it's going to be outside spend $100 or so on the cover. inside the $30, $40 covers will do nicely.
