Billet Grill question

I've got a Billet grill in my near future, but I haven't decided whether to go with the "overlay" style or a full replacement. Can anyone give me any insight on ease of installation, fit and looks?

I've got the standard billet grill from carriage works. It looks great but not so easy to install. (Bad directions) If you have the lariat, you have a crome ring around the honeycomb grill, the billet grill blends right in with the chrome ring. The honeycomb grill easily comes put with minor work. I also put the lower billet in and it looks great too. The whole thing set me back about $300.00. Hope this helps!

I masked off the chrome around the gold honeycomb (Lariat) and painted it black. Bought a Puctco boltover. Looks great and super easy.

They all look good IMO, but I like the clean look of the replacements. Not too bad to replace, but the directions do suck. Wrenck and torx set is all you need, plus drilling 4 (2 on some styles) holes in bottom of your grill surround. I posted about my experience on this or the other forum.

Check out my gallery...it took about 15min, four wing nuts with brackets and it looks pretty clean.
