How does everyone like their lariat package? Does the lariat come standard with wheel lip moldings? When you get two tone paint are the bumpers still chrom on the lariat? thanx
I was going to buy the XLT but ended up with the Lariet. Not sure how the two compare, for features on a daily basis, but I can not express how much I love this truck.
Same here, Great Truck. I thought about the XLT, but after I added all the little things I wanted it was cheaper with the Lairat. I built both on fordirect.com and compared them line to line. I'd go with the lariat again.
I priced the Lariat and XLT out on fords website and getting all the options I wanted there was not much different in the price at all, so I ordered the lariat with the lariat luxury pkg. I have only had it for a few days but im really satified so far.
Two tone paint gets you the wheel lip mouldings and yes the bumpers are still chrome but on the 05 front bumper the top part of the bumper is a painted moulding. This is what makes the big Chrome grill on the 05s stand out. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder but to me an 05 SD has got the best looking front end of any pickup ever made. period. Park your new 05 SD next to a new Ram and it reminds you of Catherine Zeta Jones standing next to Rozanne Barr. The 05 SD has a lot of class, Wrench.
lots of 05's around. I gotta 02, love it. Glad I got all the perks with leather wood trim. Like the fact I got it with manual lock-out. Never was found of the vacuum line.
Right on TN Hillbilly, not only do you have the best 4X4 system , you also have the best PSD, the fantastic 7.3. I ordered my O5 with good old manual shift on the fly and manual hubs. The 7.3 is not available anymore (pity) so I got the best motor available, the V10 and I love my truck too, Take care, Wrench.
yeah, would of been leary of the 6.0 in '05. Give it till 07 and that motor will be as good if not better than the 7.3 I think. I am married to mine till death do we part though.
