You will not get an outcome on the day of the hearing. They will tell you it will take up to 10 days. Count on it taking 10 days. I received my notice by DHL on the 10th day. There are others here who have had similar time frames.
I know it is not easy to do, but..... RELAX...
the hearing is a breeze. The members of the board in my hearing were very polite, only asked straightforward questions and even joked around a little. My hearing was scheduled for 9:00 am by phone and they called at exactly 9:00 am. Have your presentation ready to go and remember just the facts and only the facts. Don't get into how mad you are, how badly you have been treated, or anything other than the mechanical problems with the truck. Don't bring other peoples vehicles into it, just worry about your own. Keep it simple and make sure you ask for exactly what you want. If you want a buyback or replacement-say so.
Make sure you tell them exactly when the problem started and when the first complaint was. State clearly you feel that you should not be responsible for miles accrued after the first complaint and you should be credited for miles put on to and from the dealership and by the dealership.
Have all your service records in front of you and be able to refer to ticket #'s quickly.
Above all: Be polite, thank them for their time and effort on your behalf. These people are not Ford or the dealer. If your case is solid then they are your way out.
If you win then the waiting really starts!

I offered truck to them for long weekend with full tank deive it .When i hung up MOST ON THE BOARD WERE STARTING TO UNDERSTAND THE TSB AND HTZ READING I HAVE THAT WERE NEVER FOLLED OR SHOWN TO FSE.I felt like I was on trial.I WAS THE BAD GUY I was verry polite and courtis. now I need a beer.
As with any "board", calmness is the best single thing you can portray, especially on the phone. And, it helps you to think straight, too.
This is due to the fact that there are many, many people that buy way more vehicle than they can afford. They get in over their head and find out the hard way that you just can't bring it back to the dealer and get your money back. Some will then claim that the vehicle has mechanical problems and should therefore be bought back. It is a scummy thing to do but I'm sure you can see where it happens.
This is also why all the financial documents need to be enclosed with the original DSB packet. If you are 6 months behind on your payments you will not get alot of sympathy at the hearing. I had all this explained to me by a Service Manager when I first started my DSB process.
Best of luck on your outcome. If you are awarded a judgement it will still take up to 2 more months to complete the ordeal, but at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel. You have to know that the board is well aware of the vibration problems that are occuring with some 04 F-150s. There have been many hearings heard from this website alone.
Again, Good luck, let us know what happens.
