Wow I love this truck Its a 04 xl 4.6 long box. My 00 vette convertible is noiser then this truck (cabin) here's my question my truk has a oil/trans cooler was this stock? allso they sent it out for a hitch 7 pin I would like to hook up my trailer with electric brakes. Is it pre wired for this?

Welcome hotvette, you will find the people in this forum very freindly and helpful. As far as your question goes....If you have the tow package the oil/tranny cooler is part of the truck. I also believe it is wired for the electric brakes but don't quote me on that. I am sure someone in here will know. Take care and good luck with your truck!

If your truck dos'nt have the large round plug beside the frame mount hitch you are not wired for rear brakes on the trailer, but the small 4 prong one will give lights. The factory uses different box looms for different applications.
