Ignition Immobilizer

I tried this topic down in the SD forum and got no response. Ford puts an immobilizer in a lot of vehicles as do most manufacturers. This is the system where you have a computer chip in your key. My 02 Accord has this system and this car cost me less than half the money of my 05 SD. Is there an after market immobilizer system and does the Ford Gold system have this feature.
