Washer fluid warning too early
I read a post on this earlier but I couldn't find it to reply.
My washer fluid warning light comes on when the fluid is only about an inch down. One poster said clean it out with a pressure washer, then someone else said it was a warrenty issue.
So I took it back to the dealer, and guess what, they replaced the entire container, sensor, pump, everything.
Once again this forum is fantastic.

Thanks for the reminder, I was just getting ready to take my 03 in for the side mirror problem and thought I would drop in here to see if any new problems have shown up with the 03's. I have noticed that that warning comes on early, at about 1/2 full, or is that 1/2 empty? Have about 35,600 miles on it, hopefully this last trip i will cover all the problems that have arisen, been in for new clutch pak, door mouldings, front brake rotors and pads all around.
OH yea, I damn sure got the ESP Premium plan.
If it wasnt for this site I would not have known about some of the problems. Thanks Guys & Gals.

Don't know about the 98 Phil. I had a 2000 that did not have the problem. I only read it here, and asked the dealer to look at it. My 03 is still under warranty, so they just put a new one in. I don't think it's a recal or anything if that's what you're thinking.
FYI the invoice said the sensor had failed. Maybe you should see if you can just buy a sensor for your 98.
