I read a post on this earlier but I couldn't find it to reply.
My washer fluid warning light comes on when the fluid is only about an inch down. One poster said clean it out with a pressure washer, then someone else said it was a warrenty issue.
So I took it back to the dealer, and guess what, they replaced the entire container, sensor, pump, everything.
Thanks for the reminder, I was just getting ready to take my 03 in for the side mirror problem and thought I would drop in here to see if any new problems have shown up with the 03's. I have noticed that that warning comes on early, at about 1/2 full, or is that 1/2 empty?
Have about 35,600 miles on it, hopefully this last trip i will cover all the problems that have arisen, been in for new clutch pak, door mouldings, front brake rotors and pads all around.
OH yea, I damn sure got the ESP Premium plan.
If it wasnt for this site I would not have known about some of the problems. Thanks Guys & Gals.
Does this cover only newer models? My 98 is doing the same thing. Wasn't sure if it was the cold weather causing the problems. It's just an annoyance for the most part.
Don't know about the 98 Phil. I had a 2000 that did not have the problem. I only read it here, and asked the dealer to look at it. My 03 is still under warranty, so they just put a new one in. I don't think it's a recal or anything if that's what you're thinking.
FYI the invoice said the sensor had failed. Maybe you should see if you can just buy a sensor for your 98.
