motor mounts supplier?
I need motor mounts for a 79 w/a 460, and i think $40 at autozone perside is ridiculus, so i'd like to know where u guys get yours... thanks alot and i hope you can save me some money

I used '84 ford 460 van engine mounts. I had to modify the towers a little to get the engine to seat against the tranny. I had L&L originally, but I though they were pretty bad.... life time warrenty, but it wasn't worth the hassle and $. I did buy L&L power steering and alt. brackets... they are build strong and worth the $.

try this it works for me. tell autozone you found them somewhere else for say, 26 bucks per side, they will sell them to you for that. i do it all the time at my local store for various parts. i dont feel bad about it since i found out they were charging me 50$ more for the same carb that advance had. it is worth a try.
