Got my 1st diesel ( 04 psd 6.0 ), 6000 mi and so far so good. Fun to have a truck w/this much oomph!! Any special tips for oil/filter changing, like priming the oil pump or filling the oil filter housng? I just don't want to make a mistake with a new truck!

Whenever you change the oil, make sure you fill with 13qts, check the stick for the level, bring the oil up to mid-way on the hatches. Many have reported the "romps" after a 15 qt refill. I will pour 1/2 qt in the oil filter housing to help start the flow.
