Alternating Oil Pressures
If I start my truck when it's cold the pressure gauge will go quickly to normal where is should be. If I start the truck when it's warm the gauge will take 5-10 seconds before it gets to normal, sometimes before it even moves. Is this an internal problem or does it sound like a gauge malfunction? Thanks

oil pressure
Check your oil pressure with a positive reading gauge and the engine hot. If the gauge reads good oil pressure on start up then your dash gage or sending unit is defective or out of calibration. Its usually the sending unit that screws into the block that goes bad.
