I had a Leer XQ installed on my 04 STX SCAB 4x4. The base price was around $1350. I had some extras installed so paid more. I have had no problems with it at all. I get complements on it all the time.
One more tip for toppers - SAMS has foam jigsaw pads that fit perfectly inside the 6.5' bed - cost $15

Yes the XQ is Leer's primo topper. I added the following:
1. Yakima Sport Package - $395
- yakima racks
- 3 power point plugs
- misc other stuff like spotlight, camelbak and
duffel bag
2. Pull out front window - $100
Total drive out cost including tax just shy of 2K

2' by 2' foam interlocking pads. You buy them in a package of 8. 6 of them fit together for padding in the bed and there are 2 left over for putting on the tailgate when it's folded down.
You can probably find them at Sams, Wal-mart, home-depot, etc.

just thought I'd add that we got a Bedslide to ease access inside our Leer XQ. I do carpentry work and it allows full access without any crawling! Crawled for years and now I feel pretty dopey! Of course it doesn't pay unless you utilize the full bed space all of the time.

They make a very high quality topper.
I purchased one for my 2004 F150 and I am very happy with it.
They use top-of-the-line DuPont Premier paint for a perfect match. (In my case, True Blue)
