T-18 Trans..Questions
I've gotten ahold of a T-18 of some vintage that came behind a 352 FE BB. I've changed the bellhousing out to a SBF one so that it will bolt to my 300 six. My question is that somewhere i've heard that the T-18 had differing input shafts for certain years and i'd like to know what would be the correct length to install this trans behind my engine.

I don't know of any changes to the BW T-18s. I have one one that came out of a 1980 F250 4wd. It had originally a 300 six, then a 351w, a 302, then a 460...before the truck was wrecked and the frame bent (dang swiss cheese frames!). I got the trans and xcase out of it, it currently has a cast iron SBF bellhousing on it with a fixed yoke NP 208 xcase...just sitting at the moment.
